Post-Storm Sunset

We had some crazy thunderstorms here in Maryland today! While I was at work, I was able to get some shots of the runway as the storm was clearing. The sunset was gorgeous, making it the perfect opportunity! I think my work is one of the most gorgeous places to be...weird right? But the scenery at night with the runway lights is really quite spectacular- as well as the great sunsets you can see.

Oh...and you can also see the new friend we found at work in one of the hangars! Frog :-P

Fall is here!

My absolute favorite season is Fall! Shooting photos in the fall is no exception! I am very excited for some shoots I have lined up over the next couple of weeks. This weekend I have a shoot on each day, Saturday and Sunday. After these shoots, of course I will have some new photos to post!
Life is quite hectic nowadays between my work schedule and my internet based school. People would be surprised at how much work is involved in school online. Now with all of the upcoming shoots, i am twice as busy!

Hmm...what else. I ordered new business cards, which I am super excited about. This time I completely designed them myself, front and back. They are 100% in color and I think they will be quite unique. I can't wait until they come in :)

Ok i guess I am done blabbing. Here are a couple of old photos that I want to post. They are old photos I took, but they were taken in the Fall. Hope you like them :)

The weather was crummy in Virginia that day, but it made for cool mountain scape :) I just thought the clouds were neat.

I have been pretty bored today, thanks to the weather. I spent a lot of time on this piece I am posting. It is a manipulated photo I took at work....and obviously, I work at an airport.

Meet Virginia

So here is my very first photo blog! It's not anything really special. I am in Virginia right now visiting my mom so I took a few pictures outside just for the hey of it. I'm not big into taking nature-esque photos, but I really didn't have anything else. Frankly, i'm not wonderful at them. But, I am learning.
